The technology behind Rotadent® Plus incorporates the same design and performance criteria as the original Rotadent®, which has been proven to help achieve improved homecare. This consistent technical design includes the angled brush head design, 360 degree rotating brush head, brush filament fiber material and the three unique brush-head shapes (hollow, short and long). The three brush-head shapes are made from the same size and shape filament used on original Rotadent®. The angle and size of the brush heads continues to provide the same access as the original Rotadent®, which was modeled after cleaning instruments used by dental professionals. The 360 degree rotation of Rotadent® Plus allows the same interproximal and subgingival access as the original Rotadent® for deep cleaning. The drive train components, including the motor, battery and gear ratio, ensure that the same torque is available to the user to provide effective brushing action. The normal brushing speed on Rotadent® Plus provides the same number of rotations per minute as the original Rotadent® ensuring the same number of sweeps per brush rotation. |
