Zila, Inc. Product Return Policy
Effective January 2013
At Zila, we are committed to providing you with the highest quality products and services.
- All Zila sales are considered final and requests for product returns are subject to review and approval.
- Zila must approve all returns and assign a Return Merchandise Approval (RMA) number prior to accepting and receiving a return.
- All approved returns are subject to a 25% re-stocking fee when product return is not a result of defective goods, an incorrect order sent by Zila, or shipping damage.
- Credits issued for the product and sales tax only; initial shipping charges will not be refunded.
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
ONLY unopened product will be eligible for return within 30 days of receipt.
- The following items are not returnable:
- Personalized product
- Expired product
- Defective goods, an incorrect order or shipping damage are returnable. These items will not be subject to shipping charges.
— Defective goods: Defined as products that have been shipped from our factory in a non-working or non-usable condition. Defective materials for Rotadent®, Rotadent® Plus, pharmaceutical products, Pro-Select Platinum® Scaler, Insight® Ultrasonic Inserts, Zen™ Cordless Prophy, NV® and SL3™ Lasers are covered under separate warranty.
— Incorrect products shipped to a customer: Products will be promptly replaced with the correct product upon Zila issuing the RMA number. If the incorrect products have not been received by Zila within 30 days of issuance of the RMA number, the customer will be charged for the products. All returned products must be in original, unopened condition.
— Damaged products: Products that have been damaged in-transit to the customer will be replaced, within 30 days of receipt by the customer, at no charge to the customer by Zila. Replacement product will be shipped to the customer upon receipt of the damaged product at Zila. Documented proof of damage signed by the delivery service may be required for credit.
For all returns, please contact Zila Customer Service at (800.228.5595) between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. (Central Time), or email Customer Service at firstname.lastname@example.org. Upon approval of your return, you will be issued a RMA number. Products returned without a RMA number will not be accepted by Zila.
